International English Olympiad (IEO) was conductd by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) on 6th October (Set-A), 12th October(Set-B), 24th October(Set-C) 2017.

 

IEO 2017 Level - 2 Cut-off Marks

What is Cut-off marks?

Cut-off marks is the minimum marks below which you will not be selected for next level of exam.

Scoring equal to or above Cut-off marks means you have been selected for next level, and getting marks below Cut-off marks means you have not been selected or qualified for next level of exam.

The following cut off marks are applicable for determining qualifiers to the 2nd level of SOF IEO.

The cut off marks are class wise. In case more than one student score same total marks, marks obtained section wise are considered to determine qualifiers to the 2nd level. Weightage is given to sections in the following order:

  • M4 - Achiever's Section
  • M3 - Spoken and Written Expression
  • M2 - Reading
  • M1 - Word and Structure Knowledge

The qualification criteria for second round
  • The above cut off marks are applicable to determine top 5% students class wise qualifying for the second level
  • Class toppers, where at least 10 students from a class appeared for SOF IEO and
  • Top 25 rank holders, class wise, from each Zone.
  • Note:
    • Level 2 Exams will be a paper based exam like level -1
    • No Level 2 exams will be for class 1 and class 2 students
    • Level - 2 exam will be held on 11th Feb 2018.
